I met Emma through children, and in particular our mutual friend Christine. At the school gate ypu meet many acquaintances and a handful of real friends. Emma quickly became the latter. Soon we were allies, juggling complicated ballet runs and piano lessons together around our various work and childcare commitments. Emma also reached out to me in particular when I had to take a break from work. I will never forget her generosity, warmth and insight.

I'm so grateful for all those times we met up, walked, grabbed a quick cuppa before pickup, or a takeaway and bottle of wine with Christine and Juliette. Emma was always good company, unfailingly generous with her friendship, and so kind to me.
