Friends

From NCT to afternoon tea. That's one of the things I wrote on your gift for your 40th.  Who would have thought for a minute that such different worlds would collide.  From that minute we met in your  blue skirt and my red trousers I knew we would be friends.  I never cared about learning about how to put on a nappy or what baby poo would look like - I just wanted to meet someone who would get me! And so we were for a good while. Our little 3some - some joined us for a while , but to me we were the Rugby NCT Massive!!!!!  You,me and fleur. Remember how it all started like teenagers on a first date with all the niceties, to the laughter and in jokes and naughtiness!  I know you always Liked a naughty sense of humour - you always laughed at mine anyway. It made me feel good. X. I never had a friend like you before I met you. I didnt know that people would like me for what I am, not for what I was career ( or non career wise).  Remember our " first date" the 3 of us all about to drop a child - you did it first - climbing the stairs of somersaults for a coffee....... I can still see the manager thinking through his health and safety policy !!!!!!    Remember those three naughty girls dressed in ballet pink running riot in Costa whilst we obvliviosly looked on.  Afternoon tea at the Dorchester then nipping in to primark! Spending so much time meeting in Costa in London that we nearly wasted the whole day? Edward  teaching.Tom how to pee  up a car wheel on a camping trip......oh the camping trips .... glow sticks, too much pimms, too much bacardi...... three bean bloody salad!!!!  Walking out of theatres because the show was so bad!.  New Years Eves..... coffees..... cakes...  There was always CAKE.  Lovely Emma, sleep tight. I wish we had the chance to say goodbye. Xxx
